This residential garden that had an old, deteriorating redwood deck and insignificant plantings was transformed with the addition of a redesigned deck made of composite materials, a patio formed from salvaged bricks, and a new cedar wood trellis.
New Western Redbud trees, ornamental grasses, and drought tolerant plants were installed as well as raised vegetable planters. Because of the site’s high water table, a new drainage system removes excess water that had previously flooded the garden.
